Just the nonfiction, for real

Back to business, I guess. Because of all of my interests, I frequently go to Reference as a major subject. In fact, for many years, I was especially fond of trivia books. These allowed me to read up about many topics in one book, at least sometimes. Of course, I also secretly enjoyed trying to find any mistakes, and I have found a few over the years. At least, I believe them to be mistakes. I also try to get the World Almanac every year. There's something about just knowing what has has happened over the past year, as well as a preview of the upcoming year, that I like. Strangely enough though, my top subject of nonfiction is New Age/Paranormal/Occult/Body, Mind, and Spirit, although I really don't like that last term. I find that most books that are listed as Body, etc. focus too much on the body and mind, and nowhere near enough on the spirit, at least in a sort of supernatural way. I personally prefer books on cryptozoology (I think that's spelled correctly, even if spell check says otherwise). I love reading about beasts that may or not be real, as well as those that only occur in myth and legend. I also read and collect books on tarot cards. It is something of my hobby, even though I know the history and the beliefs about them are confusing. The last deck I got was the Justice League tarot from DC last year. At first, I did not like it that much as either an artistic or an occult deck. I have since changed my min slightly since it's become clear that it might just be a spoiler for the recent Rebirth campaign. And that will be my nest topic.
