I Have Some Good News To Share, But Not Yet

I will soon be posting something about the store. However, it it still too early to tell anyone what that news is. I will say that we are hopefully planning something for next month, but beyond that, nothing. I'm sorry about being so cryptic, but I cannot say anything else at this time. In fact, I might have more than one thing to post in the coming weeks. On a side note, I have just checked out a book from the library about blogging. I know, I run a book store. I could just order a book on blogging. I do order things for the store that could theoretically be helpful to the store, but I try not do read every single book we get. I do look through each one to make sure they aren't damaged. I also check to make sure the prices are listed somewhere on them. Finally, I take a quick look at every children's book to get a general feel for what age ranges would be appropriate, as the publisher's rating only go so far and some of are customers want a very specific type of book for their kids. So I sometimes go to the library to get books for my own personal reading, especially when I might not want to own a particular title for myself. An update for last week--I got one of the catalogs I had been waiting on, but others are still out. They should have been in the mail yesterday; I hope we haven't had another delivery problem. We seem to get a lot of them.
